First Moon shot with 100-400

Tried my first moon shot with the new 100-400 lens this evening. Also put the 1.4 teleconverter on so the 35mm equivalent focal length was 840mm. Not a bad shot but the camera and lens was moving around a little on the tripod and i had to use the 2 second delay instead of a cable release.

    • Hi Paul, thanks for your comment. I use the Velbon Ultrek UT 43D. It’s a great little tripod, very light and small to carry but i think the 100-400 overwhelms it a bit.
